Since I'm now an Anderson Countian again, I feel like I can chime in on this. For those that don't know, the town of Lake City, which was originally called Coal Creek, has voted once already and will vote again on June 26th to change it's name to Rocky Top. The House of Bryant, who owns the rights to the song "Rocky Top", sued the town, but a federal judge has given the go ahead and all that stands in the way of the change are the people of Lake City. Here's a protest song I just finished called "Rocky Top Ain't Coal Creek" that says how I feel about it.
