Description

Blue Ridge Brewery is hiring for the position of Busser/Bar Back. This position has several responsibilities, including assisting the bar tender with bar operations as well as assisting the wait staff by preparing tables before guests are seated and clearing tables when guests leave.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties, such restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
  • Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer
  • Replace empty kegs
  • Prepare dining room for patrons by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service
  • Maintain table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary
  • Support wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station
Qualifications
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Ability to stand for a long time and move quickly
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to multi-task and spot potential problems before they arise
  • A dedication to teamwork
